The Smith County General Sessions Court is accepting resumes for a full-time position as a Judicial Coordinator assisting in multiple administrative, clerical, and judiciary duties.

Duties will include effectively coordinating actions and professional case management with all judicial offices within the 15th Judicial District, and all other Smith County offices, departments and other professionals, including the Smith County Sheriff’s Department, Circuit Court Clerk, Clerk and Master, Juvenile Services, Smith County Misdemeanor Probation and Recovery Court, District Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, and private bar. Prompt reliability, a strong sense of professional responsibility, and unwavering commitment to the judiciary is a must.

Skills must include the ability to maintain comprehensive and accurate documents with solid attention to detail and follow-up, sound judgment and discretion with confidential information, ability to work calmly under duress, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Minimum 15 years’ experience working in the legal field/judiciary is required or comparable equivalent. High school diploma or GED required.
