Parks & Recreation Committee

Committee Description

This committee consists of 4 commissioners and 4 public representatives who are in charge of/or use ball fields, soccer fields, Kidz Central Playground or Lock Seven Park. Purpose and duties would be to review expenses and revenues from parks system. Reviews and approves yearly budgets before submittal to Finance department. Discusses maintenance of facilities and projects/improvements needed. Reviews and makes recommendations on grants and contracts. Chairman would make reports to full commission following meetings of committee.
